📨 Set your sender name and where replies go

Set the From name, the From email address (where replies go) and your logo for every reminder email.

Written by Miles

When a customer gets a reminder email, who is it from? You can control the sender name, the address it comes from (which is also where replies go), and even add your logo so every email feels like it came from your store, not from a generic app.

🛠️ How to configure your sender

  1. In Easy Reorder, go to Emails → Settings

  2. In the Sender identity card, update any of the following:

    • From name: what shows up in the "From" field (e.g., "Your Store" instead of a generic name)

    • From email address: the address your emails come from, and where customer replies go (see below)

    • Logo image URL: paste a link to the image that shows at the top of your emails

  3. Click Save sender settings

The changes apply to all future reminder emails.

🏷️ From name

Your From name is what your customer sees in their inbox before they open the email. If you leave it empty, we use your store's name. A few tips:

  • ✅ Use your store name: "Acme Supplements" is more trustworthy than "Easy Reorder"

  • ✅ Keep it short: long sender names get truncated in mobile inboxes

  • ❌ Avoid spammy words: "DEAL", "FREE", or all caps can trigger spam filters

📬 From email address and replies

Replies go to the From email address. There isn't a separate reply-to field.

Until you set up your own sending domain, this address is fixed. It's a shared Easy Reorder address that includes your store's name, and the card shows it to you. To send from your own address, set up a custom sending domain first (see Set up a custom sending domain). Once your domain is Verified, the From email address box becomes editable:

  • Type an address that ends with your verified domain, like [email protected]

  • If you leave it empty, emails come from reorder@ followed by your domain

Pick an address you actually monitor, because that's where a customer's reply lands. Common choices:

  • orders@

  • hello@

  • support@

🖼️ Logo

Your logo appears at the top of your reminder emails, giving a familiar visual cue your customer recognizes instantly.

Paste a link to your image (PNG, SVG or JPG, starting with https://) into Logo image URL. A small preview appears so you can check it. To clear the link, click Remove logo and save. If you already added the logo to an email's Header block in the editor, check that email too.

Tips for a good logo:

  • 📐 Right size: 200-400px wide usually looks best

  • 🌈 Transparent background: PNGs render well on both light and dark mode

  • 📱 Test on mobile: preview the logo size on a phone screen

The logo shows in the Header block of your emails. To make it bigger or smaller, open the email in the editor and change Logo width on the Header block. See Customize your reminder emails.

🌐 Where do emails send from?

By default, Easy Reorder sends emails from a shared sender domain (mail.easyreorder.io). It works out of the box and requires zero setup, but to maximize deliverability and trust, we strongly recommend setting up your own custom sending domain.

See Set up a custom sending domain for the full guide.

💡 Pro Tip

After updating your sender info, send a test email to yourself to confirm everything looks right, especially the logo size and the "From" line as it appears in your inbox. See Send a test email before going live.
