📄 Use a theme page as your reorder page

Show your reorder page on a normal page of your theme, like /pages/reorder, with your own header, footer and navigation.

Written by Miles

Instead of Easy Reorder's own address, you can show your reorder page on a normal page of your Shopify theme, for example yourstore.com/pages/reorder. That way it uses your theme's header, footer and navigation, and sits at an address you control.

🛠️ How to set it up

  • In Shopify, create a page (for example with the handle "reorder") under Online Store → Pages

  • In the Easy Reorder app, go to Settings → Reorder Page

  • Under "Main reorder page", choose "A page in your theme"

  • Type the page handle in "Page handle". For /pages/reorder, that's "reorder"

  • Click "Add the block in the theme editor". This opens the theme editor on a page

  • Add the "Reorder page" block to your page and save it in the theme editor

  • Back in Easy Reorder, save your changes

The handle uses lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. If you type something else, Easy Reorder will ask you to enter the page handle, like reorder.

You can also add the block by hand: in the theme editor, open your page, click "Add section" (or "Add block"), look under Apps, and choose "Reorder page".

⚙️ The block's settings

The "Reorder page" block has two small settings in the theme editor:

  • Text while loading — shown for a moment before the reorder page appears

  • Text if it can't load — shown if the page can't load, asking customers to refresh

The look of the page itself (colors, text, grid and custom CSS) comes from Easy Reorder → Settings, the same as the original page.

🔀 What changes when you choose a theme page

  • Every link points to your theme page: your reminder emails, your reorder link, the link in the recent order widget and the links in the floating reorder button

  • The Easy Reorder address sends visitors to your theme page instead. Links in emails you already sent keep working

  • Search engine settings move to Shopify. The Easy Reorder address stays hidden from Google. To set the title and description of your theme page, use Shopify's "Search engine listing" for that page. See Show your reorder page on Google

↩️ Going back

To switch back, choose "Easy Reorder's page" under "Main reorder page" and save. Customers then land on Easy Reorder's own address again (or the custom address you set in Change your reorder page address).

🧪 If it doesn't show

Open the page in your store. If it only shows your loading or error text, or stays blank, check that:

  • The "Reorder page" block is on the page you typed in "Page handle"

  • The page handle matches exactly

  • You've saved both in the theme editor and in Easy Reorder

Only one reorder page can appear on a page. If the block finds another one on the same page, it stays empty.
