If your reorder page shows a blank page, an error, or just your theme's homepage instead of the reorder page, the cause is usually that the app embed isn't switched on or hasn't been saved, or that the address you're visiting isn't the one your store uses any more.
Here's how to fix it.
🔗 1. Check you're visiting the right address
Go to Settings → Reorder Page in the Easy Reorder app. The Your reorder page field shows your current address. Open that one.
By default the address is yourstore.com/a/easy-reorder.
You can change it. In Settings → Reorder Page, the Page address card shows the address Shopify is using right now, and you can pick a new start (such as /apps/) and name for it. Easy Reorder then forwards the old address to the new one, so older links keep working. See Change your reorder page address.
You can also use one of your own theme pages as your main reorder page. Under Main reorder page in the same tab, choose A page in your theme and enter its page handle (for example /pages/reorder). The Easy Reorder address then sends visitors to that page. See Use a theme page as your reorder page.
If you changed your address in Shopify and the page is blank, open the new address once yourself so Easy Reorder sees it. Emails, the reorder page and the widget then use it.
🛠️ 2. Confirm the app embed is on
In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes
Click Customize on your active theme (the one currently published)
In the left sidebar, click App embeds (look for the puzzle-piece icon)
Find Easy Reorder in the list
Make sure the toggle is ON
Click Save in the top right corner
The "Save" step matters. If you toggle the embed on but don't save, it doesn't take effect.
This one embed covers your reorder page, its search engine tag and the floating reorder button. If the floating button is the thing that's missing, see Floating reorder button.
📄 3. Using your own theme page? Check the block
If you chose A page in your theme as your main reorder page, that page needs the Reorder page block:
In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize
Open the page (for example the one at /pages/reorder)
Click Add block (or Add section), choose Apps, then Reorder page
Click Save
The block shows "Loading your orders…" while the page loads, and "Your orders could not load. Please refresh the page." if it can't. You can change both texts in the block's settings. Only one reorder page appears per page, so if the page already shows the full reorder screen from another source, the second one stays empty.
🎨 4. Check that you're editing the right theme
If you have multiple themes (for example a published theme and a draft theme you're working on), make sure you enabled the embed on the published theme. That's the one your customers see.
🌐 5. Try the address directly
Visit your reorder page address in your browser. You should see the reorder page sign-in screen.
If you see a blank screen or a 404, the app embed almost certainly isn't enabled, or you're using an old address. Re-check steps 1 and 2.
🔁 6. Reinstall the app (last resort)
If the embed shows enabled but the page still doesn't work:
Uninstall Easy Reorder from Settings → Apps and sales channels in your Shopify admin
Wait a minute
Reinstall from the Shopify App Store
Re-enable the app embed
This refreshes Shopify's permissions and usually fixes any lingering install issues. Heads-up: uninstalling removes your order history, reminders and queues from Easy Reorder, so don't reinstall as a fix unless other troubleshooting hasn't worked. Your emails and settings are kept if you reinstall within 48 hours (see Uninstalling Easy Reorder), but reach out to support first.
💡 What if I see the page but it looks broken?
If the page loads but looks visually broken (missing styles, broken layout):
Try a hard refresh (Cmd+Shift+R / Ctrl+Shift+R)
Check if you have custom CSS applied that might be conflicting (Settings → Custom CSS)
Try a different browser to rule out a browser cache issue
