🔍 Show your reorder page on Google

Your reorder page is hidden from Google by default. Here's how to list it and set its search title and description.

Written by Miles

By default, your reorder page is hidden from Google. That's the right choice for most stores, because the page is a sign-in screen for existing customers.

If you want people to find the page in search, or you want a nicer title when it's shared, you can list it and set its title and description yourself.

🛠️ How to turn it on

  • In the Easy Reorder app, go to Settings → Search engines

  • Turn on "Show the reorder page on Google"

  • Fill in the "SEO title" and "Meta description" (optional)

  • Click "Open App embeds in the theme editor" and check that the "Easy Reorder" app embed is on (it usually already is). One switch covers your reorder page, its search tag and the floating button

  • Save your changes in Easy Reorder

✍️ Title and description

  • SEO title — the browser tab and the headline on Google. Up to 60 characters. Leave it empty to use "Reorder | your store name"

  • Meta description — the short text under the title on Google. Up to 160 characters. Leave it empty to use "Sign in with your email and zip code to see your past orders and reorder them in one click."

The SEO title is different from the "Page title" under Settings → Page text, which is the heading customers see on the page.

A preview on the same tab shows roughly how your result could look on Google.

🔒 What is never listed

  • Only the sign-in page can appear on Google. A customer's own view of their orders, any link with their email or zip code in it, is never listed

  • Search engines are asked not to list the page when "Show the reorder page on Google" is off

Turning it on only asks Google to list the page. Google decides if and when it does.

📄 If you use a theme page

If your main reorder page is a page in your theme (see "Use a theme page as your reorder page"), the Search engines tab shows a notice and the settings are off. Edit that page's title and description in Shopify instead: Online Store → Pages → your page → Search engine listing. The "Edit pages in Shopify" button takes you to your pages. The Easy Reorder address stays hidden from Google.
