๐Ÿšจ The Reorder Page Isn't Showing Up in My Theme

Fix a blank or missing Reorder Page by enabling and saving the app embed.

Written by Miles

If your Reorder Page URL (yourstore.com/a/easy-reorder) shows a blank page, an error, or just your theme's homepage instead of the Reorder Page โ€” it usually means the app embed isn't enabled or hasn't been saved.

Here's how to fix it.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ 1. Confirm the app embed is on

  1. In Shopify Admin, go to Online Store โ†’ Themes

  2. Click Customize on your active theme (the one currently published)

  3. In the left sidebar, click App embeds (look for the puzzle-piece icon)

  4. Find Easy Reorder in the list

  5. Make sure the toggle is ON

  6. Click Save in the top right corner

The "Save" step matters โ€” if you toggle the embed on but don't save, it doesn't take effect.

๐ŸŽจ 2. Check that you're editing the right theme

If you have multiple themes (e.g., a published theme and a draft theme you're working on), make sure you enabled the embed on the published theme โ€” that's the one your customers see.

๐ŸŒ 3. Try the URL directly

Test by visiting https://yourstore.com/a/easy-reorder in your browser. You should see the Reorder Page login screen.

If you see a blank screen or 404, the app embed almost certainly isn't enabled. Re-check step 1.

๐Ÿ” 4. Reinstall the app (last resort)

If the embed shows enabled but the page still doesn't work:

  1. Uninstall Easy Reorder from Settings โ†’ Apps and sales channels in your Shopify Admin

  2. Wait a minute

  3. Reinstall from the Shopify App Store

  4. Re-enable the app embed

This refreshes Shopify's permissions and usually fixes any lingering install issues. Heads-up: uninstalling deletes your Easy Reorder data, so don't reinstall as a fix unless other troubleshooting hasn't worked. Reach out to support first.

๐Ÿ’ก What if I see the page but it looks broken?

If the page loads but looks visually broken (missing styles, broken layout):

  • Try a hard refresh (Cmd+Shift+R / Ctrl+Shift+R)

  • Check if you have custom CSS applied that might be conflicting

  • Try a different browser to rule out a browser cache issue

โš ๏ธ The Reorder Page URL is /a/easy-reorder

The official URL is yourstore.com/a/easy-reorder. Some older docs referenced /a/reorder โ€” that's outdated. Use /a/easy-reorder for all links and integrations.

๐Ÿ†˜ Still stuck?

Reach out and include:

  • A screenshot of your App embeds screen showing the Easy Reorder toggle

  • Your Reorder Page URL

  • A screenshot of what you see when you visit that URL

We'll diagnose the issue and get you live.
