⏰ The "Remind Me Later" Snooze Link

Written by Miles

Every reminder email Easy Reorder sends includes a "Remind me later" link. This gives your customers a low-friction way to delay a reminder without unsubscribing or asking to be removed from your emails entirely.

It's automatic — you don't need to set anything up.

✨ What customers see

At the bottom of each reminder email, there's a small link like:

Not quite ready? Remind me in 30 days.

When the customer clicks it, the next reminder for that product is automatically delayed. No login required, no form to fill out — one click and they're done.

🛠️ Do I need to configure this?

No. Snooze links are added automatically to every reminder email. The link is included in your email template by default.

If you've removed the Snooze block from your email layout in the editor, you can add it back by dragging the Snooze block from the block panel into your design.

🎨 Customizing the snooze block

You can edit the look and copy of the snooze link in the email editor:

  • Change the text (e.g., "Snooze for 30 days" or "Not yet — remind me later")

  • Adjust the font, color, and alignment

  • Change the snooze duration if your block supports it

Just click the Snooze block in your email design and customize the options.

🔒 Are snooze links secure?

Yes. Each snooze link is a uniquely signed URL — it can only be used to snooze that specific reminder, and it can't be modified to affect other customers or extend reminders beyond the intended window. The link can't be guessed, copied, or tampered with.

💡 Why include a snooze link?

It might seem counterintuitive to give customers an easy way to delay your emails. But here's why it works:

  • 😊 Better experience — customers appreciate the control

  • 📈 Higher engagement — customers who snooze stay engaged longer than customers who unsubscribe

  • 🚫 Fewer unsubscribes — snooze is a softer alternative to opting out entirely

  • 🎯 More accurate timing — customers who snooze tell you they're not ready, and you can adjust future reminder intervals based on this data

⚠️ Note

Snoozing a reminder only delays the next reminder in the sequence — it doesn't disable reminders entirely. If a customer wants to stop receiving emails altogether, they can use the standard unsubscribe link.
