πŸ“¨ Set Your Sender Name and Reply-to Address

Written by Miles

When a customer gets a reminder email, who is it from? You can control the sender name, the reply-to address, and even add your logo so every email feels like it came from your store β€” not from a generic app.

πŸ› οΈ How to configure your sender

  1. In Easy Reorder, go to Settings β†’ Emails β†’ Sender & Domain

  2. Update any of the following:

  • Sender name β€” what shows up in the "From" field (e.g., "Your Store" instead of a generic name)

  • Reply-to address β€” where customer replies go (e.g., your support inbox)

  • Email logo β€” upload an image to show at the top of every reminder email

  • Logo width β€” set how big the logo appears in the email

  1. Click Save

The changes apply to all future reminder emails.

🏷️ Sender name

Your sender name is what your customer sees in their inbox before they open the email. A few tips:

  • βœ… Use your store name β€” "Acme Supplements" is more trustworthy than "Easy Reorder"

  • βœ… Keep it short β€” long sender names get truncated in mobile inboxes

  • ❌ Avoid spammy words β€” "DEAL", "FREE", or all caps can trigger spam filters

πŸ“¬ Reply-to address

Pick an address you actually monitor. When a customer hits "Reply" to a reminder email, their message goes to this address. Common choices:

If you don't set a reply-to address, replies go to a default that the customer can't easily reach β€” leading to frustrated customers and missed conversations.

πŸ–ΌοΈ Email logo

Your logo appears at the top of every reminder email, giving a familiar visual cue your customer recognizes instantly. Tips for a good logo:

  • πŸ“ Right size β€” 200-400px wide usually looks best

  • 🌈 Transparent background β€” PNGs render well on both light and dark mode

  • πŸ“± Test on mobile β€” preview the logo size on a phone screen

You can adjust the displayed width in the sender settings to match what looks right.

🌐 Where do emails send from?

By default, Easy Reorder sends emails from a shared sender domain (mail.easyreorder.io). It works out of the box and requires zero setup β€” but to maximize deliverability and trust, we strongly recommend setting up your own custom sending domain.

See the "Set up a custom sending domain" article for the full guide.

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip

After updating your sender info, send a test email to yourself to confirm everything looks right β€” especially the logo size and the "From" line as it appears in your inbox.
