📦 Bundle Multiple Products into a Single Email

If a customer bought multiple products from your store, they might be due for reminders on different products around the same time. Instead of sending three separate emails on the same day, Easy Reorder bundles them into one — keeping your customers' inboxes happy and your sender reputation healthy.

🔄 How bundling works

Every time the reminder system runs (daily), it looks at all the products due for reminders for each customer. If a customer has multiple products due within a bundling window, those products are combined into a single email.

The email shows each product as its own product card, with a single reorder button (or one button per product, depending on your design).

⏱️ The bundling window

The bundling window is the time range during which due reminders are combined. For example, if your bundling window is set to 3 days, then any reminders due within a 3-day window of each other are bundled into one email.

You can adjust the bundling window in your reminder settings — make it longer if you want fewer, more comprehensive emails, or shorter if you want each reminder to be more precise.

📧 What the email looks like

A bundled email typically shows:

  • A header reminding the customer it's time to restock

  • A list of products that are due for reorder

  • A single CTA to view their full Reorder Page (or per-product reorder buttons)

  • Standard footer with snooze link

You can customize all of this in the email editor — the layout is up to you.

🛡️ Minimum gap between emails

In addition to bundling, Easy Reorder enforces a minimum gap between any two emails to the same customer (default: 14 days). Even if a new product becomes due tomorrow, the system waits until enough time has passed before sending the next reminder.

This is your customer's safety net against email fatigue.

💡 Pro Tip

Use a wider bundling window (5-7 days) if you sell lots of consumables — most customers buy several products at once and benefit from combined emails. Use a narrower window (1-2 days) if your products have very different reorder timelines.

⚠️ When bundling doesn't apply

Bundling only applies to reminder emails, not to:

  • Transactional emails (order confirmations)

  • Marketing emails from other apps

  • Manual sends or test emails

Each of those is governed by its own rules.
