📊 The Emails overview: emails, reorders and revenue

The Emails page: the on/off switch, emails sent, reorders and revenue driven, what's queued (including out-of-stock waits) and the activity log.

Written by Miles

The Emails page (formerly called Reminders) is where you see how your reorder emails are performing. It shows the big numbers, emails sent, reorders driven and revenue, plus a log of every individual email.

📍 Where to find it

In the Easy Reorder menu, click Emails. The Overview tab opens first. The page is marked Beta, with an On or Off badge beside the title so you can see at a glance whether emails are running.

🔘 The switch

At the top of Overview, the Send reorder emails switch turns your reorder emails on or off. If it's on but none of your emails is set to Active, you'll see a warning, because no reminders will be scheduled until you set one to Active on the Sequence tab.

📈 The cards

Three cards show the last 30 days:

  • 📧 Emails sent (30 days): reorder emails that went out.

  • 🛒 Reorders driven (30 days): orders that came from a reorder email.

  • 💰 Revenue driven (30 days): the revenue from those orders.

Until your first email goes out they show zero, with a note that numbers appear after your first email goes out.

Under them, Coming up shows how many emails are queued for the next 7 days. Click View queue to see them on the Queued tab.

Need to catch up on older orders? Backfill historical orders has a Backfill reminders button that scans your recent orders (30, 60, 90 or 180 days) and queues emails for any that were missed. It's safe to run twice. It's most useful right after you first turn emails on.

To preview what customers get, click Send me a test at the top of the page.

⏳ The Queued tab

The Queued tab lists reminders waiting to go out. A reminder is either pending (it sends on its date) or held (it's waiting for something, like a rate limit or stock).

Easy Reorder checks the exact variant the customer ordered. If it's out of stock, the reminder waits instead of going out, and the Queued tab shows Waiting for stock (since {date}). It sends once that variant is back in stock. If it's still out of stock after 14 days, the reminder is skipped, and the reason reads Out of stock.

Reminders are also skipped for anyone who has unsubscribed, marked a reminder as spam, or whose address has bounced. They're never emailed again, and the reason reads "unsubscribed". Every reminder email has an Unsubscribe link, and you can't remove it. There's no list of these customers to view in the app.

📋 The Activity log

Open the Activity log tab for every email, most recent first. At the top, four tiles give you the funnel:

  • Sent

  • Opened, as a share of sent

  • Clicked, as a share of sent

  • Led to an order, with the revenue from those orders

Use the buttons above the list to filter: All, Sent, Opened, Clicked, Ordered, Skipped or Cancelled. The list updates every minute, or click Refresh.

For each row you'll see:

  • Customer: click the email address to open their customer page.

  • Order #: the order that started the reminder.

  • Type: sent, skipped or cancelled.

  • Step: which email in your sequence it was (E1, E2 and so on).

  • Status: sent, opened, clicked, converted, skipped or cancelled.

  • Date: when it went out. Skipped and cancelled rows show the date they were processed.

  • Reason: why an email was skipped or cancelled, for example the customer reordered, an excluded tag, another email went out too recently, the item was out of stock for 14 days (Out of stock), or the customer unsubscribed.

  • Clicked, Ordered and Days to order: whether the customer clicked, whether they ordered (with the amount), and how many days it took.

If a customer picked their own date on your Thank you or Order status page, the email carries a Picked badge, for example "Picked 30 days".

🛒 How an order is credited to an email

A reorder is credited to a reminder when the customer opened or clicked the email and then placed an order within 14 days. If a customer reorders before the email arrives, or doesn't open or click it, the order isn't credited to the email.

On the Analytics page, those orders show up as "Reminder emails" in Where reorders came from. See Analytics: reorder behavior, customers and products.

💡 Pro Tip

Filter the Activity log to Clicked and compare it with Ordered. Lots of clicks but few orders usually means the product page or the offer needs work, not the email.

📅 Watching trends

The cards always cover the last 30 days. For longer trends, use the date picker on the Analytics page.
