🛠️ How to set up your reorder page

Get your reorder page live in three steps: switch the app on in your theme, turn on reorder emails, and share your reorder link.

Written by Miles

Your reorder page is the core feature of Easy Reorder. It allows both customers and guests to quickly view their past purchases and repurchase with just one click.

The easiest way to get it live is the "Set up in 3 steps" card on your Home page. This article follows the same three steps.

✅ Step 1: Switch the app on in your theme

  • On Home, click "Open the theme editor". It opens your theme with the app embeds ready. Or do it by hand: from your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes

  • Click "Customize" on your active (published) theme. If you have more than one theme, make sure it's the one customers actually see

  • In the left-hand panel, click "App embeds" (the puzzle-piece icon)

  • Toggle on "Easy Reorder"

  • Click "Save" in the top right corner. The embed won't take effect until you save

This one switch covers your reorder page, its search engine tag and the floating reorder button, so you only turn it on once.

That's it! Home turns this step green by itself when it detects the switch, and shows "The reorder page is live" with a "View page" button. Your reorder page is now live at:

If Easy Reorder can't check your theme (for example, while your store is password-protected), you'll see a button to tell us you've turned it on.

📧 Step 2: Turn on reorder emails

Click "Turn on and send me a test" in step 2. It switches on the reminder emails and sends you a test. By default, the first reminder goes out 30 days after a purchase, with a follow-up 7 days later. You can change the wording and timing at any time under Emails.

🔗 Step 3: Share your reorder link

Click "Copy link" in step 3 to copy your reorder page address, then add it to your menu, your order confirmation email or anywhere else customers will see it. For a ready-to-paste button for the order confirmation email, see How to add a reorder button to your Shopify confirmation email.

You can copy the same address any time from Settings → Reorder Page, under "Your reorder page".

🧪 Test the reorder page

  • Visit your reorder page as a customer or guest

  • Sign in with your email & zip code (the "Find Orders" button) to view your past orders. Shoppers who just ordered on a device are signed in on it already, and sign in once with email and zip on another device

  • Add a product to your cart to experience the flow

🛠️ Choose where your reorder page lives

Under Settings → Reorder Page you can decide how your page is set up.

  • "Main reorder page": choose "Easy Reorder's page" (the default address) or "A page in your theme". With a theme page, you enter its page handle (for example reorder, which becomes /pages/reorder) and add the "Reorder page" block to that page in the theme editor. This lets the page sit inside your theme's own layout, menus and SEO settings. The "Add the block in the theme editor" button takes you there. Every link Easy Reorder creates (emails included) then points to that page, and the Easy Reorder address sends visitors to it. See Use a theme page as your reorder page.

  • "Page address": want something other than /a/easy-reorder? Pick a new start and name, click "Next step", and follow "Finish in Shopify", which walks you through changing it in Shopify. Easy Reorder then uses the new address everywhere and forwards the old one so older links keep working. See Change your reorder page address.

💡 Optional: Share the reorder page

You can share your reorder page link anywhere, including:

Want a button that follows shoppers around the store too? See Floating reorder button.
