Sorry to see you go! If Easy Reorder isn't working out, here's how to remove it, and what happens to your data when you do.
🛠️ How to uninstall
In Shopify Admin, go to Settings → Apps and sales channels
Find Easy Reorder
Click the ⋯ menu next to it, or open the app, and choose Uninstall
Confirm
Shopify removes the app and tells us so we can clean up.
🗑️ What happens to your data
Right away (shortly after you uninstall), we delete:
✅ Your order history and customer data
✅ Scheduled and sent reminders, so nothing further goes out
✅ Reorder predictions
✅ Email tracking: opens, clicks and orders
Kept for now: your email templates, sequences, reminder timing rules and settings. This is so that if you reinstall, you pick up where you left off. We also keep the list of people who unsubscribed from your reorder emails, marked one as spam, or whose address bounced. That way they stay unsubscribed if you reinstall, and are never emailed by mistake.
48 hours after you uninstall, Shopify sends us a store erasure request, and then everything left for your store is deleted, including the templates, settings and unsubscribe list above. After that, a reinstall starts from scratch.
🔁 What if I want to reinstall?
You can reinstall any time from the Shopify App Store.
Within the first 48 hours: your templates, sequences, reminder rules, settings and the unsubscribe list are still there. Your order history is not, because that's deleted straight away. Easy Reorder loads your past orders again after you reinstall.
After 48 hours: everything is gone and you start fresh.
🌐 If you set up a custom sending domain
Uninstalling doesn't remove your sending domain from our email provider. Before you uninstall, go to Emails → Settings and click Remove domain under Custom sending domain. You can also contact us to remove it.
You'll also want to remove the DNS records you added for it at your domain provider.
🚧 Before you uninstall, talk to us first
If something isn't working, we'd like the chance to help. Common ones:
⚠️ Setup confusion: we'll walk you through it
📧 Emails landing in spam: a custom sending domain usually fixes this. See Emails are going to spam
🐛 Bugs or broken features: we'd love to fix them
💔 Leaving feedback
If you do leave, a short note about why, or a review on the Shopify App Store, helps us improve.
